Our client is looking for the below discipline for an upcoming work scope in Egypt

Inspection Engineer- Team Leader

Corrosion Engineer- Senior

Inspection Engineer

a. Minimum UKAS RG2 Qualification Category 2
b. Incorporated Engineer as defined by Engineering Council or equivalent (e.g. appropriate HNC/HND with relevant experience)
c. Chartered Engineer as defined by Engineering Council or equivalent (Preferred)
d. Certified to API 510 or NB 23, API 570 and API 653 (onshore storage facility) or equivalent (Preferred)
e. Minimum 10 years specific experience related to the job description in the oil & gas industry within an inspection related discipline. However, 10+ years’ experience is strongly preferred.
f. Knowledge of design, manufacture, materials, corrosion, metallurgy, welding, codes, standards, risk assessments and legislation associated with the in-service inspection of plant and equipment
g. Familiar with QA/QC systems and procedures
h. Thorough understanding of common NDE techniques
i. Hands on experience with RBI processes

Corrosion Engineer

a. Degree in Engineering related discipline
b. Postgraduate qualification in corrosion (Preferred)
c. Chartered Engineer as defined by the Engineering Council or equivalent (Preferred)
d. Minimum 10 years of specific experience in oil & gas industry as a corrosion engineer. Other industry experience will be considered dependent on qualifications and experience.
e. Knowledge of relevant plant, process or production chemistry, structural and process materials properties. Also, extensive knowledge of oilfield corrosion mechanisms (e.g. CO2, MIC, PWC, erosion corrosion, CUI and external corrosion)
f. Up to date knowledge of (and be able to use) applicable national and international standards in corrosion or related fields
g. Hands on experience of corrosion prediction modelling, material selection and corrosion related codes and practice
